Nobody clicks your share buttons

I use "Copy Link" buttons pretty religiously on my phone because they tend to remove trailing URL parameters, saving me from manually selecting only the front part of the link.

Thinking about this, it would be nice if my browser had a button for that.

And here I thought I was an oddball for manually cutting off end parts of links

Firefox has a "copy clean link" button for hyperlinks and in the address bar.

That hasn't worked for me in a lot of instances, and still copies a lot of tracking info.

Good article!

There's a new one I've noticed in a lot of places, "add us as a Preferred Source to Google".

Yah. Smells rather orwellian, if you ask me. It's especially funny when you see they are mostly offering the same shit by a few news-agencies, just wrapped in different packaging.

The new ministry of truth, so to speak.

Edit: OFC one can disable that with a few clicks in uBo :-)

Nobody cares for your AI-generated hero images either.

I do, because YouTube mobile is now an atrocious SPA where you cannot copy the video URL from the browser anymore.

Yes you can copy the URL.

What kind of Mickey Mouse browser are you using?
