Trophic memory, deer, and a unique scientific object (2024)

"Imagine trying to get funding for this kind of study now – given the modern emphasis on rapid results, whose career could possibly support such a dataset?"

P.S. I like how the website modifies the clipboard :P

I'm surprised this hasn't received more attention. Pattern memory, morphogenesis, collective intelligence of cells? This is HUGE!

This could be biology's "quantum physics" moment... Direct physical evidence that supports Rupert Sheldrake's "morphic resonance".

Impressive collection, but surprising it hasn’t burned down yet with all those lit candles on bookshelves.

"Trophic" typically means nutritional, what's the connection here?

Fascinating stuff regardless.

Fascinating read. Also a reminder that aesthetics and fire safety occasionally have very different priorities.
