Useful context: China, India and the continent of Africa each have roughly the same amount of people.

Look at the difference in area of solar deployment with that in mind.

Did they get bought out by bigger players in China? Or did they really closed down and reduced total capacity?

China themselves installed more Solar Panel than the rest of the world combined. If anything it was actually slow's slow down in rolling out that causes the demand issue.

Total madness. But what do you expect in this weird day and age?
