Those knowledgeable in such things know these are the ill conceived considerations of well the intending naively optimistic intellectuals.

Those of sufficiently advanced technology do not use radio propagation. Entanglement allows instantaneous communications at any distance, despite what modern understanding insists. Further, biotechnology achieves such means, and are responsible for “the voices in our heads”, and the occult secret societies who “govern us”.

Our nearest “intelligent” neighbor who will not achieve space flight or detectable technology in a hundred thousand years is approximately 127 light years away. Look for that through passive means.

Those who know we are not alone on this planet are embroiled in a secret war for Power among humans, the dominant faction of which (those voices in our heads) hate them, have mutilated them, and are weaponizing public fear and paranoia of those Earthly cohabitants.

The conspiracy is American Thought Control and the Earthly cohabitants (commonly known of as the Greys) are benign altruists, better thought of as a colony of cosmic bees. The problem is humans want their honey (advanced technology).
