> Today, Brave is announcing the release of Brave Origin, a paid version of the browser for users who don’t need all of Brave’s out-of-the-box features, but still want the privacy that only Brave offers.
Nobody's paying for fewer features. Stop pushing unwanted crypto and advertisement slop, and then I'll consider paying you to support your browser.
I moved to Helium instead, but that nobody will pay is to be seen.
I happily paid for it. I've been using Brave as a secondary browser for years now, their browser is great out of the box and so is their search engine and they don't try to shove shoving their politics down my throat like Mozilla keeps doing with their "they/them gender neuteal new mascot".
I'm happy to donate to a project when I know the money is going to support the browser, unlike Mozilla where it goes who knows where.
