These people never had any shame, but at least the PR blowback, and potential (probably minor) legal punishment, was enough to deter them from attacking the victim again. Now they see the POTUS get away with raping, being "proven" innocence by someone bought and paid for, then suing the victim, so they know they can get away with it too.

Your comment makes it seem like Schmidt is guilty. But the arbitrator here is a retired female judge from Washington state (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beth_M._Andrus). And she was appointed by a progressive governor. She’s very likely to side with the “victim” in a case like this.

Before this comment creates a Dem vs Rep division just remember that Bill Clinton, a democrat POTUS, is also a rapist.

The Trumpstein class only has allegiance to each other and money. Gore Vidal called them "the Property party", and FDR called them "economic royalists".

One of the best things about HN is a fairly troll-free environment. My politics is/was different than Clinton but I don't think he was convicted of that crime.
