Jane Street employees paid $9.4B in 2025

Juicy quote:

    > The New York-based trading firm brought in a record $40bn in 2025 and paid out about a quarter of it to employees, according to a person familiar with the matter. That amounts to roughly $2.7mn per employee for a staff of 3,500.

To put this into perspective, to have profits of more than 1M USD per employee is astonishing. Even before the global financial crisis, only a few investment banks could get about 800K USD per employee. These numbers from Jane Street are mind-blowing.
