Pricing and power consumption is competitive with nVidia (and substantially cheaper if you compare to the Tesla boards), and the x64 instruction set and a normal memory model is actually a really big deal.
Furthermore, pretty much any algorithm designed for CUDA/GPUs also runs faster on regular Intel processors, but the reverse is not true.
It's hard to see how this isn't going to be successful for Intel.
Any idea what it will cost when released? Rounded to the nearest grand?
