Built and open-sourced in the era before AI. I’m sure you know where to find the code.

This is awesome-- feels very original, the UI is polished and "juicy", and I really like the level progression.

My only small feedback is that I felt a bit of conflict in the different scoring systems: am I supposed to be solving as fast as I can, or in the fewest moves, or to get the most stars? That all may be an intentional design choice though. Really great game.

Does it really not work on Android Firefox? It won't even let me try so I switched to chrome and I'm glad I did because I enjoyed it but I nearly bounced at the screen telling me to get the app

Sorry for the bad experience. This was build many years ago, and those nudges to ask user to download the apps are from that time. Though, there's no app, the code is not updated since then.

I like it! Its been added to the HN Arcade btw :) https://hnarcade.com/games/games/encircle

Cool game. I like the simplistic design. Might be a good idea to add extra score for "least dots used to cage the circle"

Handwritten software interesting concept!

There should be a term like “artisan software”.

Good job blocking firefox.

Sorry for the bad experience. The blocking of Firefox is not intentional. It's a decade old code and seems to be breaking on Firefox.

Stars confused me, and they are not mentioned in the How to.

yeah it takes a minute to figure it out, you can argue whether or not that's user friendly but you do figure it out after a couple runs

Not available on my region - the Netherlands

Sorry, the app is not available anywhere, it's old code. But you can play it on web-browsers.

It’s great! Good work.

Truly excellent!
