Shit show. You know they planned out scenarios for this war. But they did a bad job.

I expected they'd do a small invasion around the nuke areas. They have to extract the uranium - so they send in troops and hold an area while special forces exctract the uranium.

All they need to do is extract the uranium and they can declare victory. Will it work? Based on the competency of the current government, probably not.

I think thats pretty unlikely. The nuke areas are very far inland. Its impractical from a political point of view to put that many troops that far inland.

I think more likely they may seize Kharg island. It has direct strategic value (~95% of oil exports) and is a much simpler target. This is why they bombed it today - shaping operations.

they are likely going to try to take Kharg island. Trump suddenly started talking about this as a target in the hours preceding the announcement of the deployment. He gives away everything that the US is about to do if you pay attention to his truth social posts.

"Nuke areas" like Saddam "WMDs" MacGuffins. People believe anything if the mainstream repeats the establishment propaganda enough.

The surrounding inland is dug-in, rugged high ground.

This will be the Bay of Piglets. They have zero chance to accomplish anything except certain death.

It's a setup excuse for either Netanyahu or Trump to nuke Tehran or Bandar Abbas. They will double down out of ego. Many will die like Vietnam.
