Show HN: DataQueryAI – Turn plain text into SQL locally
dataqueryai.app
I built DataQueryAI to let people run queries on their databases using plain language — no SQL knowledge required.
Key points: - *Local-first AI*: runs on your machine using the Ollama engine, no data leaves your device. - Supports Postgres, MySQL, and SQL Server. - Exports results to CSV, Excel, or HTML. - Supports English, Vietnamese, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Spanish, and Thai. - Windows x86/x64, macOS ARM64/x64, Linux coming soon.
Pricing: - Free Forever: single DB profile, CSV export. - Pro Monthly: $16/mo, multiple DBs, Excel/HTML export. - Pro Lifetime: $79 one-time, multiple DBs, full export support.
The goal was to make querying databases fast, private, and accessible to non-technical users. Would love feedback from HN on:
- Usefulness for your workflow - Any features you’d like next - Thoughts on local-first AI tools for privacy
