Show HN: FreshLimePay – Generate PayPal and Stripe checkout buttons
freshlimepay.com
I built FreshLimePay to make accepting payments with PayPal or Stripe simpler for small projects and indie makers.
The idea is straightforward: - Connect your PayPal or Stripe API keys - Generate a checkout button or link - Copy the snippet into your website or app
Payments go directly to your PayPal or Stripe account — FreshLimePay does not process or hold funds.
There are two versions:
• Self-Hosted version – install on your own server and run it with your own credentials. • Cloud version – managed SaaS if you don't want to host anything.
The goal was to create something lightweight compared to full billing platforms when you just need simple payment buttons.
I'd really appreciate feedback from the HN community: - Is this useful for your projects? - What features would you expect next? - Would you prefer self-hosted or SaaS for something like this?
Happy to answer questions.
