Show HN: Balance Buckets – Savings Buckets for Small, One-Owner Businesses
buckets.joelryan.com
I love the bucket/envelope accounting options provided by some personal bank accounts, but my small business account doesn’t have it. So I built a minimal, stand-alone version.
Eventually, you’ll have a full accounting system, a bookkeeper, and all that, but in the meantime, you might want to set aside money in buckets.
Balance Buckets takes your current balance, calculates what you need in your savings buckets, and lets you know what’s safe to spend.
It’s 2-minute accounting.
