Ask HN: I'm investing $100k in cool people with boring skills. Any leads?

Howdy. I want to invest $100k in cool people who do skilled labor with their hands.

Examples: mending, sharpening, fabrication, transportation, restoration, carpentry, whatever.

If you have any talented friends who want more autonomy in their work, please intro us! My email is hello@taylor.town

I'd also love to hear HN's experience with small-business investing. Is this a good idea? Bad idea? What else should I consider?
