Politicians Are Calling the Protests in Minnesota an Insurgency

Religion has always been about politics to some extent, and I don’t put much stock in religious institutions by themselves. The underlying philosophical frameworks are often useful for individual or collective reasoning, and for dealing with uncertainty. But these frameworks become anti-social when they’re used to justify political extremism.

It depends on what schools of thought one subscribes to. There is a lot of nuance to the development of human behavior and culture, and so the way we interact is based on more than just the brutishness of might is right.
