Here's a CNN segment from 2016 about ICE enforcing in Chicago, without the spin we see today, yet essentially the same operations:

Many on the right who had Obama Derangement Syndrome didn't know how well Obama's administration enforced federal immigration law.

How many Americans did poorly-trained, hastily-hired ICE agents kill during Obama's administration?

I wonder: what now? If it was an individual they would be imprisoned, wouldn't they? If it was a private company it would face fines. What can be done with ICE?

The us constitution literally allows the people to vote out any government structure or process which they deem unfit. US citizens should launch a class-action lawsuit, since litigation is how they do everything, and demand changes as totally permitted in their constitution.

I don't know if most people there just don't know about it, or just don't care. But there literally is a solution baked into their constitution.

Russia never had a functional democracy. The US has had one since 200+ years. It has had its problems no doubt, but democracy has flourished in the US and so has the rule of law. Honestly to an outsider that is US's real super power. Lets not forget that this is the country that collected a large corpus of income tax data upon which several economic theories (particularly Kuznets) were based on. Point is US invests in enforcing its laws. Something that's missing from Russia and also the former Soviet Union.

So I am hopeful that this stupidity will be solved as well.
