Show HN: WatchRoom – Watch YouTube with strangers, discover new content together

I built WatchRoom to watch YouTube with strangers and discover new content together.

Browse public rooms to see what others are watching - gaming streams, music, documentaries - and join instantly. Or create your own and see who shows up. No login needed.

Features: - Public room list: Find and join rooms in one click - Real-time P2P sync: Play/pause/seek stays perfectly in sync - Chat + floating emoji reactions - Private rooms with password for friends

I've discovered genres I never knew I'd enjoy just by joining random rooms.

Tech: React 19, Go, WebRTC P2P DataChannel. Try it: https://watchroom.ponyo877.com/en/
