$19k a month.

My personal commentary: Sadly, nothing about actual browser development.

Everytime I see a good post from Mozilla I cant help but cringe every time AI is mentioned. Its so forced and its ruining all the good will that the post would have generated.

Like this is an objectively cool thing but every sentence is talking about AI. Its clear Mozilla has no idea what to do. They should remember that they're suppose to be a community and ask the community.

"Do you have any ideas? We are all out." - Mozilla

I don't care about Mozilla anymore and I was a passionate Firefox user back in 2004. The rest of the world just standardized on Chromium. The vast majority of the remaining Firefox users are just using it for ublock origin which is not a sustainable business model.

> We are primarily seeking individuals with the strong drive and leadership qualities necessary to take a product from its nascent stage (“zero to one”) to a successful market entry.

> Individuals who enjoy vibe coding to bring their ideas to life.

... Good luck to them. And well done to anyone to manages to score 19k a month to vibe code some garbage.

The new CEO’s comments on AI, followed by this… yea, Mozilla’s absolutely captured in the same hype-train as the rest of the industry. Cheers to another few years of woefully incompetent management of the only good browser we have.

Would be a good description of how Mozilla went totally off-rail with broken values:

- Individuals who enjoy vibe coding to bring their ideas to life

- US resident only

...
