"Russian". It's Russian when it's convenient for them to be Russian. It's switching names, switching flags (or not claiming any flag at all sometimes).

But Russia does seem to be claiming it now.

Link was ephemeral and article gone now

And Trump has already suggested that he will use military force to take Greenland. Ofc it was "if required" but it's a guarantee anyway given Greenland doesn't fucking want to be a U.S. state, same as Canada and everywhere else.

What the actual hell is going on.

What's going on is that checks and balances have failed, and the only limit left is Trump's self-restraint.

Using the world's greatest Navy for piracy is a damn shame. Also exactly what one would expect of a greedy fool.

It may be about to get even more extreme than that. There is talk of issuing Letters of Marque [0] to private citizens to commandeer assets of the cartels. I don't know if it will become a thing but if it did then many former military will be seizing cartel boats. My concern is that their actions may be mistaken as sanctioned military decisions representing the US military. Other countries may start to mimic this behavior. Earth could turn into one big PVP server.

This has been suggested seemingly every other year since i was born. It's pure pandering.

Is that really what's happening? These ships have been flagged for years now. Other states not infrequently seize them. Often times they're lauded bc it takes unrepaired, leaking ships off of the sea. BC it helps Ukraine.

But Trump does it and now it's piracy? Are you sure you're not just letting your hatred get the better of you?
