Show HN: DailyBlob – Daily stories from the pulse of the internet
dailyblob.xyz
I built DailyBlob to get a quick and coherent grasp of what’s happening on the internet right now, without scanning dozens of feeds. The goal is to write daily stories from the pulse of the internet.
DailyBlob publishes hourly snapshots of the conversations gaining the most traction across places like Hacker News, Reddit, X, and many RSS feeds. Each snapshot is written as a short story, aiming to describe what’s happening and why it matters, rather than just listing links.
Over the course of a day, those 24 snapshots are then combined into a single daily story that captures how the day unfolded online.
This is an early version and currently shows a single global view, with no categories yet. I wanted to share it now to see whether the snapshot to daily story approach is useful before adding more structure.
I would really appreciate feedback on:
- Whether hourly snapshots feel useful or too frequent - Whether the daily story adds value as a recap - What categories you would expect first, if any
