Jason Scott (of textfiles.com) made a great documentary video about the Adeventure game. I picked up a copy at DEFCON about 15 years ago.

also of note: the "fifty years of interactive fiction" post series: https://if50.substack.com/archive?sort=top (much discussed on hn)

or in book form: https://if50.textories.com/

Cannot recommend this book enough. Absolutely fascinating read

Great documentary, highly recomended. Small correction: it's not specifically about the game Adventure but about the genre it spawned, Text Adevntures (later called Interactive Fiction)

They trimmed the caving term PLUGHole down to 5 letters. O:-)
