Ask HN: Will SLMs be what bursts the LLM bubble cos you can run them on a phone?
Almost no latency, they don't even need a top-end phone, they understand what you say.
Though to be honest. Im thinking of installing a truthsayer on my old Samsung S4.
A bit stumped by the "they understand what you say". Sounds a tad immature and extremely bullshitty to me.
I dont understand the generalisation, who are "they"?
does it mean I can install loads of SLM's on my old phone and listen to them having a conversation.
