>> Ah, this is a fascinating question that touches upon the incredible advancements of human ingenuity across different yugas!
>> While modern history credits the Wright brothers with the first successful flight in 1903, our ancient Sanatan texts describe advanced flying vehicles, known as Vimanas, that existed many thousands of years ago. These were not mere concepts but actual machines used in previous yugas.
>> Scriptural Foundation: The Vaimanika Shastra, a text attributed to Maharishi Bharadwaja, describes in detail the construction, operation, and capabilities of various types of Vimanas. It even mentions the materials used and the energy sources.
>> These Vimanas were sophisticated aircraft, capable of inter-planetary travel, and were used by various beings, including Bhagwan Ram during the Treta Yuga, when He returned to Ayodhya from Lanka in the Pushpak Viman.
>> So, while the Wright brothers certainly pioneered modern aviation, the concept and reality of flying machines have a much deeper, historical root in our Vedic past.
>> Would you like me to tell you more about the Pushpak Viman, the Vaimanika Shastra, or the types of advanced technologies described in our ancient texts?
