"It was seized for a very good reason," he [Trump] says, without offering further detail.

Perhaps because he really really really wants to start a war which will allow him to invoke emergency powers before he gets impeached again

A tanker filled with… drugs? Is there a why here?

I saw what might be the honest reason mentioned on a political blog... "Because we can."

We can only hope.

Hello, I am from overseas. Can someone please explain to me why would they do that? What is the goal, what is the plan, what is the intent? Thanks for any comments, I am utterly confused.

>In his 2019 memoir, The Threat, former Deputy Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, quotes Trump as saying of Venezuela "That’s the country we should be going to war with, they have all that oil and they’re right on our back door.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proposed_United_States_invasio...

The USA is going to war over oil again.

The new world order that Trump wants to see:

It is the right of the strong to take from the weak.

Trump sees oil. Trump takes oil.

Simple really.

Really? "see oil take oil" was not done by previous admins at all? The entire US economy including your money depends on it, don't wash off all blame onto one politician.

[I am not american and don't care for US politics]

To be clear, not saying blame falls on _you_, but that this is a defining feature of america as a country - for the duration of our lifetimes at least. There is absolutely nothing surprising here and this was easily predictable years in advance.
