The (satirical) study is an incomplete analysis without considering the positive benefits of community membership. It's also unknown if individuals would fare better transplanted elsewhere.
We don’t always talk about how community itself supports people with different mental and neural traits. It just shows that diversity can hold a group together rather than break it apart.
