Hey HN I'm Michael, co-founder of AI Guardian
We built this because we kept shipping AI-suggested code that broke in production. Copilot/Cursor/ChatGPT are amazing, but they don't know your context, security requirements, or performance constraints.
*What AI Guardian does:* - 8 specialized "guardians" validate different aspects: • Bias detection (algorithmic fairness) • Security validation (vulnerability scanning) • Performance analysis (efficiency checks) • Context verification (requirements matching) • Drift monitoring (model behavior tracking) • Trust validation (safety, explainability) • + 2 more specialized guards
*How it works:* 1. You write code with AI assistance 2. Before committing, guardians analyze the changes 3. Each guardian provides pass/fail + specific feedback 4. You fix issues BEFORE they hit production
*Current status:* - Beta with 500 developers - Founding 100 program open: $299 + $20/month forever - After 100 spots: $99/month regular pricing
We analyzed 10,000 AI code suggestions and found 70% needed fixes. Full methodology and data in the repo.
*I'll be here all day to answer questions.* We're skeptical engineers ourselves - happy to discuss technical implementation, privacy, how the guardians work, etc.
