The 404 Media version of this story was submitted by 4 different people so there is sufficient interest in it, but 404 Media is a shadowbanned domain.

Christ the moderation here really is bad sometimes. 404 are one of the only independent tech journals who are doing good reporting and what’s HN do? Ban them. Bravo guys.

They were shadowbanned due to people complaining about the paywalls every time.

Granted, everyone (including The Verge) has sporadic paywalls nowadays so that may need to be evaluated.

Shadow banning spam domains would make sense.

Banning journalism domains which use pay walls for some articles would make sense if consistent.

I can imagine no good reason to hide from a user a submission was rejected because the domain used pay walls for some articles.

It got killed because it was submitted by five people, the first is still alive.

The first one was vouched after this comment was made.

Hacker News posts don't get automatically killed due to too many people submitting the same one.

It's about what you would expect from Musk and his world: childish bombast.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Musk pays PR companies to downvote comments like yours, while mentioning Grok in every discussion about competing models.

This shows that:

- grok is the worst of all major models, again - you should never trust billionaires with personal media outlets - money can only make you confident and happy to a certain degree
