Trump demands unpaid air traffic controllers 'get back to work' as chaos worsens

My read of this article https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cj41pgpk0wgo ("US Senate passes funding bill as historic shutdown nears likely end") is that this is no longer relevant? ie shortly they will all be paid and back to work?

He should be able to relate, considering he forfeited his own salary. It's probably the only clean money he would have made while in office.

Gosh, maybe he should pay them.

Are the controllers that are working getting paid interest on the late payments ?

Wouldn’t it be a thing if they just quit?

I mean it’s the most stressful job on the planet. Hundreds of lives in your hands total concentration at all times. Grueling hours. Sure it pays but is it worth getting treated like dirt?

Probably not. There’s already a chronic staffing crisis. If even a handful quit the whole thing could fall apart.

isn't fascism supposed to help keep the trains running on time? Where are all these supposed benefits of fascism?

The human race is full of people who don’t help themselves and don’t help others. They are going to get representation.

That one's a bit of a myth, honestly.
