Ask HN: P2P Archive.is Alternative?
We can all agree that site was a tremendous asset for information preserving. If we suspect archive.is will be taken down by law enforcement, shouldn't we be working on a decentralized alternative?
And before I discovered the Apple "magic trick" Automatic Verification [0] I was being forced to solve a f%>|{>^ captcha with every archive.* site access, the Wayback Machine worked.
If it's (going to be) just de-listing the sites in dns, I just did a "host -a" on the sites, so I have IP addresses if names go away.
