Ask HN: Playwright MCP Unusable?

I have heard a lot of good things about the Playwright MCP, however I tried hooking it up to Claude Code to do some basic browser automation and it constantly blows up the context window on nearly every call. Anyone have the same experience or workarounds?

I am here to commiserate. I basically have accepted in the few cases I use it over pasting an image I will always have to use sonnet[1m] with it. I wish there was some way to delegate a sub-agent or at least some garbage collected chain of thought, it's really not ideal to have to load the entire dom into context just to repair a single arcane line of tailwind that's breaking page scroll
