Show HN: Interview Transcription with AI Quote Extraction and Q&A Format
harku.io
I built a tool specifically for interview transcription that journalists and researchers actually need.
Key features: - Automatic speaker diarization (separates interviewer/interviewee) - AI extracts memorable quotes with speaker attribution - Exports to Q&A format (perfect for articles) - Filler word removal ("um", "uh", etc.) - 5-minute free preview, no signup required
Tech stack: Next.js, Deepgram for transcription, DeepSeek for AI analysis
I noticed existing tools like Otter.ai are built for meetings, not interviews. Journalists need Q&A formatting and quote extraction, not action items. Researchers need accurate speaker labels and academic export formats.
Would love feedback from anyone doing interviews regularly. What features would make this more useful?
