Em Dashes and Elipses

Suspension point elipses cause younger generations stress? I hadn't heard of this particular difference in communications style. I'm not quite a boomer, but I find this reaction odd.

In any case, I won't stop using them (or em dashes). Just as us older generations have to learn the language of the younger ones in order to understand them properly, the younger generations have to learn the language of the older ones in order to understand them properly. They're different dialects, and nobody is wrong here.
