Show HN: Built Open Source AI Coding Assistant Which Rivals to Cursor

I built a completely FREE, open-source AI coding assistant in Python over a weekend. It works with any codebase, keeps your data local, and rivals paid alternatives.

What is Lynecode? Open Source: You can customize if you want Terminal first: Works with ANY language, ANY project size 30+ tools from ASTSearch to SEMGREP Your data stays LOCAL Built in safety, Auto-backups before every change without even having git

The "Holy Sh*t" moment I built my entire website (https://www.lynelabs.com/) using Lynecode in under 2 hours. That’s when I realized this thing actually works and could rival the expensive alternatives.

Why this matters for developers everywhere: No more $20/month subscriptions draining your budget Data sovereignty: Your code doesn’t leave your machine (or host on your own Azure for extra privacy) Learn from readable code Toolset which can rival it's paid alternative and easily expandable

The bigger picture This isn’t about claiming to be the absolute best (I honestly haven’t tested every tool out there). It’s about showing that you don’t need million dollar funding or fancy marketing to build something useful
