It feels weird to invest so much in your customers to me. Buying compute chips with company shares can't be sustaining.

Google "round tripping". It's a tale as old as time and has led to many financial scandals and bubbles/collapses.

Why? For example, most leasing is essentially the car company investing into you, because a lot of the leasing companies are subsidiaries of the manufacturer. This is pretty much Nvidia providing leasing services.

What is $20B, but just the same dollar, exchanged back and forth, 20 billion times.
