Best Fleet Management Tools for Small Operators?

Hi folks,

Managing 10–20 vehicles isn’t easy. Between inspections, maintenance schedules, compliance paperwork, and spare parts, it often feels overwhelming.

I used to rely on manual tracking, but it wasn’t sustainable. Now I use Fleetrabbit (fleetrabbit.com) — it covers inspections, reminders, GPS/fuel integration, and more. It’s been a big help.

I’m curious:

What tools or methods are you using to manage your fleet?

Do you prefer paid software, custom-built solutions, or open-source options?

What’s the one feature you couldn’t live without?

Would love to compare approaches and see what’s working best for others.
