This action was taken under an administration whose supporters frequently champion free speech as a core American value. Yet when dissent arises from within, the response is not dialogue or debate - it’s discipline. The irony is hard to miss.

In this case, it seems that free speech is equal - until it challenges authority. Then it becomes a liability.
