What's the point of vibe coding if I still have to pay a dev to fix it?

AI isn’t ready for non coders to create and manage any complex software project.

But for someone like me who is adept at coding but not actually interested in it, it’s amazing. I get what I want with minimal effort and periodically (more rare than most imagine) I have to look at the code and either fix it or prompt it to be fixed.

That’s the real vibe coding in 2025.

There's a word for the job of gathering requirements and refining ambiguity, but people might not like that.

Well Google is already requiring their product managers to be able to vibe code.

Pretty obvious fake to me.

Yes, it's written by some disgruntled dev or somebody trying to be funny

"Vibe coding" isn't a thing. Let's use real words.

Not true. Whether you like the phrase or not, people generally know what “vibe coding” means.

Can you explain what it means?
