So yeah was interested for a second than checked all the comments user account creation dates... Most in June some in Aug...

I would appreciate if @dang or @tom?? Make a blacklist of all these accounts and/or start making webs of trust etc.

Anyway probably time to start surfing the hn news page of the "classic posters" good thing algolia works again.

To any devs out there that wanna build / are building a news site software with web of trust / vouching to create proof of humanity etc I think the market is gonna be huge soon and would be interested in promoting it.

Eternal September for the whole web seems to be coming...

We've killed all the accounts that had little/no prior activity on HN other than upvoting/boost-commenting this post, or the similar one last year. The comment complaining about the tiered pricing is particularly bad. Some people really underestimate how obvious and bad this looks to the rest of the community. The thing is that it's completely unnecessary. We want to help people get exposure for good projects via Show HN, and all anyone needs to do is email us and we can help them get their project and post into good shape.

This entire post reeks of astroturfing - almost every single comment here is from accounts with 1 karma. OP didn't even take the time to remove the em-dashes from the blatantly obvious LLM generated text.
