Isn't Ukraine only allowed to run some very old firmware versions on all these US weapons? E.g. they are available and provided to Ukraine but with limited capabilities and features so as not to leak current capability of these weapons (allowing Russia to use their war to research US/NATO capabilities).

Like all military stuff: 60 years old chassis to avoid recertification but stuffed with latest tech.

Patriots are regularly upgraded. We're not shooting missiles from the 80s.
