If am LLM doesn't know how it learned, can it help us learn, other than by regurgitating textbooks that it digested?
I believe the value in a well-written book, completed to the scattershot info bytes on the internet (and I have lots of these) is in the three C's.
Contunuity: each chapter builds on another.
Consistency: pieces fit and don't contradict or wander.
Context: all pieces refer to the same subject and each other.
How would an LLM achieve these? Would worked-out examples be better than answers? At least, the worked-out examples can be verified, similar to open source software.
And can an LLM actually work out examples? Explain your steps!
