> The goal is to give them writing that transforms them into someone with more legitimacy

So, a propaganda arm for the VC founder's pet political philosophies. Nice!

In a way, I found that part refreshingly honest. And I had roughly the same read of it as you did.

The article talks more about what they mean by legitimacy.

Why use so much italics ? Makes him look like a teenager craving for attention.

We can read just fine, we don’t need to be told which words are most important

As someone who works in tech outside of the SV bubble this sounds like epicenter of marketing VC “enshittification” as being somehow “innovation”.

Danco’s writing is really great.* I’m sad he’s going to work for the enshittification engine of the tech industry.

*He writes with a different perspective, sometimes too reductive in his analogies and analysis, but I don’t need to agree with everything to appreciate writing that cares about ideas.

Marc Andreessen is a strong Trump supporter.

Trump is using blatant lies about crime rates and demonization of The Other to justify taking over control of Washington DC

The Nazis used the exact same tactic.

This man is going to work for Marc Andreessen.
