Show HN: CircleCropPhoto – Instantly Crop Images into Perfect Circles

Hi HN!

I made CircleCropPhoto.com, a simple and fast tool to crop any image into a circle—ideal for profile pictures, social avatars, or design use. No signups, no bloat, just clean cropping.

Why I built it

I needed a quick way to turn rectangular images into perfect circles for social media profiles and app designs. Most tools made it harder than it needed to be—or required uploading to a slow server. So I built a fast, privacy-friendly alternative.

Features • Instant circle crop – just upload and drag • Preview + transparent or solid background options • 100% client-side – image never leaves your browser • Export as PNG with one click • Loads fast, works on mobile and desktop

Tech stack • TypeScript + Canvas • Pure client-side, no server, no analytics • Lightweight & mobile responsive
