Like many of you, I spend long hours at my desk — coding, reading, working. I know I should stand up more often, but I always forget and end up sitting for hours. So I built a tiny web app to help me — and maybe you too.
It’s called StandUpBuddy — a free, browser-based timer that reminds you when to sit and stand. You set your own timing (like 40 minutes sitting, 20 standing), and it gives you gentle, friendly notifications to switch.
Features:
Customizable sit/stand ratio
Start, pause, and reset controls
Runs entirely in the browser
No accounts, no tracking, no ads
100% free
It’s minimal by design — just something that quietly supports healthier habits during long sessions at the computer.
Would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or ideas for improving it!
