Show HN: I Made a plugin-based workspace app to avoids bloat
hollow-space.vercel.app
happy to share with everyone a project of mine. it's a desktop app called Hollow.
How i made it : I used Tauri framework with solidjs
What does it do : It's an empty canvas that you can place tools inside of it, tools like [Notebook, Kanban, Embed ...], you can make as much instances of the same tool as you want, that way you can have for example 2 notebooks next to each other serving different subjects. or kanban columns one for todo and one for finished task, you can also customize the [size, appearance, position] of these instances. that way you can have a flexible interface. The app also supports plugin system that way the app can be extended with other tools made by other people.
Inspiration : I got inspired by ObsidianMD, at it's core a note taking app. But it can be more with plugins, unlike obsidian my app is nothing at its core other then a host for tools.
What do i expect : The app is free, the only income i expect from it is patreon, other then that i'm not hoping to make this app a business and there is no reason for that.
check it out and let me know what do you think as the user's point of view.
