When children are starving, the enemy is hunger

The hunger is manufactured though. So it's those manufacturing it that are the enemy surely? Israel has chosen to starve them. Deliberate, planned, coordinated actions should not be dressed up in such a way.

Have you got a source for that?

Multiple independent reports from the United Nations to Amnesty International and Israeli human rights groups have stated that the famine in Gaza is manufactured via coordinated restrictions on aid, infrastructure destruction, and militarized distribution and based on the facts. These practices have been described as deliberate war crimes and even genocide by UN experts like Michael Fakhri, and legal bodies emphasize that intentionally starving civilians is prohibited under international law
