NASA intern loses job after profanity-laced tweet to Space Council fellow (2018)

This is kind of amusing though.

It's not actually clear to me at least if she lost the position purely based on the tweets. At the end there's s nice recommendation for her.

> After talking to her and looking at her resume, I am certain she deserves a position in the aerospace industry and I'm doing all I can to secure her one that will be better than she lost," Mr Hickam added.

Seems she will bounce back no problem. It also seems so silly to fire people based on social media. That's just my personal opinion though. It didn't seem egregious.

For a young woman to reply to "Language" on Twitter with "Suck my dick and balls I'm working at Nasa" is pretty funny. But there are so many people without a sense of humor.

Seven years ago. I wonder if she ever did get a Nasa job.

[2018]

too funny!, lucky that there will be no mark on her official record, but aerospace is small at the top, so she could end up with a "call sign" if she keeps it up

'Language"? "Guttermouth"? "Soaplips"? :)
