Starving a civilian population as a means to compel a peace deal is a crime against humanity and has been recognized as immoral almost universally throughout much of human history.

Not to mention that Israel’s government probably could have gotten a peace deal by now but is pretty openly prolonging the conflict to enable ethic cleansing of the Gaza Strip.
