If, like me, you wanted to see the actual farthest distance photo, here it is: https://beyondrange.wordpress.com/

Best ad I've read all day.

Some of the best content marketing I've ever read. More please.

The rest of their blog is pretty amazing in this regard too

Came here to say this. I didn’t realize it was content marketing until the end, and then the reveal was so funny I LOL’d. Serious props!

This is how you do blog marketing.

SEO. Is. Not. Dead.

Don't know what the weird emphasis periods are about, but arguably, this isn't SEO but just good content markting, as the post is going viral on HN and the like. Search engines are just one aspect of having a successful site, and if you focus too much on search engines your site ends up being ass.

It's not just SEO, it's also SMO.

But seriously, who's going to make a link to a site like that unless it has interesting articles like that.

The #1 bad idea people have is that they're going to rank #1 for a big keyword like "buy WOW gold" -- what you can do it publish 100s or 1000s of articles which will make you rank #1 for 100s or 1000s of minor keywords.

To make it clear this is praise for that site, not an insult.

Pretty cool although I'm surprised the distance isn't longer, and was a little surprised by the location.

Flagged why?

Presumably because it's content marketing and some people are categorically against that even if it's kind of good and funny.
