Yeah sorry, but I think you massively misread that take. It's not about conformity. It's about keeping yourself liked so that people will voluntarily interact with you. You can no longer get away with being a narcissistic arsehole.

I'm not sure I agree that's gonna happen, I'm just trying to paraphrase what I think the GP meant.
