Show HN: Interactive CV – Real-time resume editor with ATS-optimized templates
interactive-cv.com
7 months ago I shared Interactive CV here https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=42361479 as a React learning project during paternity leave. Thanks to your feedback, it's evolved significantly.
The biggest change: rebuilt the editor for real-time editing. Had to switch from standard PDF libraries to react-pdf-renderer, which gave me plenty of headaches until I got live preview working smoothly. Worth it though.
Major updates since v1: - Real-time CV editor (no more clunky forms) - Six new ATS‑friendly templates - Improved AI job matching algorithm - Completely redesigned UX
The app now has usage limits (though you can try everything for free), but there's still a full demo on the landing page so you can test it without signing up.
Still solving the same problem: I got tired of spending hours tweaking my resume for different job applications. The workflow is much smoother now.
What would make this actually useful for your job search process?
